Whats up guys? how has everyone been? Well as for the vibe, i have to put my underglow kit on and black out the tail lights. $30 for both. Thats a steal. lol. anyways, Im building the car to run 13's by the mid of next year. I am goin to get an extra 1zz-fe and have my mechanic bore the crap out of it. I was thinkin about doin an LS1 swap bcuz all of the money imma dump on makin the vibe break 13's or high 12's is good for an LS1 swap with all of the tweakin to the chassy that they would have to do with it. well anyways, yeah imma turbo the sucker and find everything that is made for the 1zz-fe i can and if i can't find something, we will mod it to fit. its goin to be one sick turbo'd vibe. Im plannin on taking it to shows like HIN and also racing it in NASA and Bondurant competitions. can't wait. well i sold my eclipse. now i have a good project to work on. well let me know what you think and hope everyone is doin good and as well your cars. peace.
Sounds awesome! Once you start you should have a "Build" thread we and you can track your progress. A LS1 Vibe would be pretty cool, though. Might have a slight problem with wheel spin though...lol.
My Fleet:
'15 Ford Fusion AWD Titanium 2.0 Tutbo

'14 Nissan Pathfinder AWD SL
'05 Pontiac Vibe AWD
BTW, Im a HE. lol. anyways, im at my team VP's house (our team mechanic) and we are taking measurements to see if it would be possible. We would also have to make it RWD. I have seen ls1's in a 300zx body, rx7 body, solstice body, and amazingly, a 3rd Gen eclipse. its crazy wat people can do with that LS1.
thanks for the support guys. if i can make an all motor 2nd Gen Eclipse GS non-turbo run mid 14's, which people thought was impossible, imma do my best to make this project a success. as for the LS1, it can be done. I wish i would have had an AWD vibe because it would have been easier since i would have already had some type of drivetrain on the rear. it would still be fun and awesome if i were to pull that off. well we will see what goes on from here.
