Why so many 08 Vibes over 09 ?

Post by nimo »

I live in Chicago area and wonder why I see so many more 08 Vibes over the Newer 09 ? Is it just my area or do people like the older version better ? I hope people don't think my car is ugly ? I bought it though because of the Corolla qualities more and the utility .

Also remember DEEP discounts on 08's because a new redesign was coming out so dealers wanted to clear their lots of the cars.

From my experience, I think these 09 Vibes are really selling quickly. I'm still waiting for my dealership to locate one for me. I'm getting a Black or Stell Blue GT with all the options. Maybe I'm being too picky? It probably won't be long before we see many more 09 Vibes on the road.

If those options had little value to you, then buying an '08 probably was a good choice. I wonder what effect those options will have on the relative used values of 08's and '09's. I guess I could go to some used car pricing sites and see what the difference is for an '07 with and without.

The easy answer is that the 08s have been out longer than the 09s. That being said, I don't care for the 09s... (no offense! )
