BMW GINA

Post by Atomic »

This is kind of slick, in a scary way, it just doesn't look BMW-ish at all to me.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTYiEkQYhWYThe winking eye headlight thing is cool.

Weird. Is this actually supposed to be a car? Or a new way to make prototypes?

thats badas*, i love it, as long as the frame can withstand accidents that could be the future. its a great way to reduce weight allowing smaller engines to be used, increase fuel economy and increase acceleration times. my only question tho is what about rain, snow and other weather. how would it handle the accumulation of snow and is it water resistant. can you still wash the car to get dirt and stuff off? no more waxing

Certainly very clever. A very different take on body style, materials, etc. From a practical perspective, I have to wonder what kind of material they are making the skin out of? Will it work in rain, snow, heat, etc? From a cynical perspective, I wonder about the name choice when that hood opens up ... :-)
