I am looking for some opinions of other members as to which wheel I should go with. Here is a pic comparing the two. The top picture is with 17" Enkei 5+. The bottom picture is with 18" Enkei CDR9. The only thing I can't show is I can get a special center cap for the CDR9 that has some blue on it that I think would accent the wheels and the car. Either wheel I get I am going to get Nitto 555 tires. Cast your vote and let me know your opinion. Thanks!

I like those 17's as well. I don't like the "riveted" look of the 18's. I wanted those same 17's, but I don't like the extra holes in the center. If I could get those 17's in chrome and without the extra holes, then I would be very happy. As for filling up the wheel wells, that is why I plan a 2" suspension drop.

Those are really nice looking rims. I thought about chrome rims but I have had them before and they were a pain in the (removed). I have also had Enkei rims before and haven't had any problems with them and I like the quality. On top of that, chrome rims are about $100 more per rim than the aluminum painted. It is going to be a while before I purchase rims so I have time to look at other types and brands. But if I was going to do it right now, it would be between those two.

Thanks Rasermon for the props. I was going to go with Gunmetal or chrome, but the style I liked didn't have gunmetal as an option so I went BLING BLING!Here is a better pis of the 5+'s, I was going to get those until I found out 17' were the largest!
That was exactly what I found out. They only go up to 17" and I was figuring if I am going to get rims, why not go with an 18"? The 17" 5+ has a really cool design and I think they would look as good as an 18" rim.

I already have the Enkei CDR-9 on my "2nd Vibe" I have a pic of them with my old one from last summer. Actually my second one is blue (neptune) also but Monotone.I'm getting rid of them because I am upgrading to a newer Enkei style for 2003.As far as my old ones I was considering selling them for $300.00 for all four wheels (rubber not included) Either that Or just donate them to Discount Tire or something. I just to want to deal with the hassle of lugging them but I dont think I'll have a choice.
The CDR-9 will look much better on your Vibe.I'm gettting tired of mine but I still get long stares from other drivers. You will still have some space in your wheel wells but It does make the car look more "bossy"
quote:Looks Great DiniBut they must be a real pain somewhere to clean!???Not reallyOr course I can never get on the inside of the rim but the spokes and holes doesn't take that much time to clean at all.Waxing helps as well
