does anyone remember me?? (insert sound of crickets chirping)oh, it has been forever since i've been over here but that's what having another kid will do to you. that and losing your job... last fall i found out my company was closing my office in March and moving my positon 1000 miles away to MA, but because of my pregnancy and the fact that i handled all the top-tier accounts, i was given a temporary extension, which is now until the end of june. so now i am working from home with a loaner laptop from corporate. i'm essentially mentoring my replacement as well as the new inside sales team out there. i'm hoping to find something relatively soon work-wise, thankfully my company did up a decent severance package for me plus we did have a decent savings for rainy days, so we'll be fine for a while.but on the bright side, i have a beautiful baby girl now, born on Jan 28. she's keeping me busy on top of working from home. i now have 2 car seats installed in the vibe, the cosco scenara for my older daughter (she's 3 now!!) plus the base for a graco snugride for the little one.the vibe is still running like a champ, and since i'm working from home now, hubby is taking it in most days to work to save on fuel, he has a '99 olds 88 which is not the greatest on mileage.
