Haven't ridden in years and a few things to note. I hate gyms, they are annoying, clustered, and take waaay to much ambition to go to. Nobody truly enjoys going to a gym. Swimming is always fantastic, but who wants to smell like chlorine and have green hair and dried out skin for the rest of their life.I took a ride with my fiance to my local bike shop. Incredibly helpful people, took one for a test ride and bought it. It is a 2008 Gary Fisher Tarpon mountain bike. Good bike for a person getting back into it. It's a hybrid for road and light off pavement work. Perfect for what I'm looking to do. Should help me lose a couple extra pounds and get me more fit. Here it is, I love the color.
looks pretty good...i had bought a bike myself as an alternate way of travelling around town..but then i bought the vibe so i sold the bike...think i went around the block once..lol hopefully you use yours more then i have
sweet. Gary Fisher is good stuff. biking is a great way to get in shape especially off road, the average trail will utalize just about every muscle in your body bc of the different stances your in to balance weight over the given terraini'd like to start riding again too, just gotta find a job and figure out where i'll be living

Wow...cool! I've been wanting to get one too, but pretty clumsy lately (a couple of weeks ago I fell two days in a row, and I get scraped and bruiseda lot lately. Maybe I should get in better shape *before* buying a bicycle!

Looks good!Question--I don't see a kickstand (most bicycles don't have 'em these days anyway), and it doesn't quite look like it's leaning against the fender of that car in the background. Did you buy a magical bike that holds itself upright?
