Hmm, what *is* this thing plugged into the aux space of my stock HU?
Am just about to install an ipod connector to my stock HU (05 Vibe). I think I have M&T based off what folks have said (door tweeters and an audio-looking device stuffed under my passenger seat). When I remove my HU, its got two main slots in the back - the 24pin main connecter and a 12-pin aux connector. Theres something plugged into both slots right now. I'm going to connect my new neo into the 12-pin aux I think, but I'm wondering, what the hell is plugged in there now? I have unplugged it while the radio is operating, and havent noticed any difference? I just bought the car used so I dont know if this other plug is stock. Is there perhaps a set of wires running to the rear compartment for easy external CD installation? I guess I will unplug it, but I just want to get an idea of what I may be missing??!!Thanks,
