Just as the topic title says, wondering if theres a sub in the '03

No. I believe the '05's (second front grille style) were the first to offer the 'Monsoon' (?) rear sub from the factory.
My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.

No sub in 03, sub was an option in 04 and came included in 05 and later.
