There is no inputs usually on a lot of these radios, even though they have an aux switch in the front, some radios even have that switch sharing the CD of the same radio, but there is a solution for any radio, I for instance, do not listen to Cd's, but only my Ipod, which by the way does not have any song downloaded from the ineternet, but that is another issue, anyways if I take any Delco radio, with or without a CD player I can install a separate aux input in the front of the unit, any radio has what they call the FM module, also control module and the amplification module, so I actually have at least 2 choices of connection, whereas I always choose the amp module to install the aux input, the reason is because you will have better control of volume with the Ipod, keep in mind the FM goes thru the control and ususally is a very low signal compared to the output of an Ipod, Delco does also on the radios many people aren't aware of, that is they also build a circuit within, which is activated by the key in the ignition key and door open and a bell sounds on the left front speaker, well to say the least, if I install a separate switch to control a flip-flop and in turn a solid state relay(for front and rear speaker) I should be able to then, listen to the Ipod or Fm and if you leave the Ipod on and the switch to it and keys in the ignition (ignition off); music will come on instead of that bell which is sometimes annoying, you agree?.With about $20 to $30 you should be able to accomplish this, keep in mind radios are built the same pretty much, but if you have any questions I'll be happy to assist
Is there an auxbox with a usb port to allow me to connect my flash drive to play my mp3's? Or do I need an an adapter cable to connect to the auxbox? Or is there another way to do this using the cd/aux button ('05 w/M&T and XM)?
