Audiovox XM Direct Connect II

Post by josholiver1 »

So i just got my new Sony HU and its sat radio ready so i purchased the XM direct Connect System. What a joke. the system works for 10 min, overheats, then dies. Im so disappointed I guess ill be returning it and buy a new separate radio thats not direct connect. Ive already paid for the radio to be activated, but im wondering if i have to pay for the activation if i just switch it with another one? I tried asking customer service and i couldn't even understand them and they just tried selling me more stuff..idk.Anyone Else Have Problems?

Where did you have the unit mounted? I used one for about 3 years with no problems and my wifes is going on 2.5 years with no problems. You might have gotten a bum unit. To switch the radio you will need to call xm and tell them that you need to switch radio IDs and you should be set.Aron
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
