Yellow Fog lights

Post by imspace2 »

Once I get my Vibe I'd like to switch out the fog lamp bulbs to yellow similar to Lexus Driving/fog lights, but just from reading a few other posts I think it would just be a better idea to just order/find some yellow Lexan lens covers for them whats the word?

You would be better of getting the Yellow Lexan Protectors rather than changing out the bulb. Being that our fogs are made of glass. The protectors of course will protect them.
Bye Bye Vibe.............

Yes, get the fog light protectors from toolguy! I had some on mine, they were great. Made the light a shade more yellow and they can really save your fog lights. At one point before that, I had some amber overlays from bluebatmobile (if he's even still around.) Made the light extremely amber but wouldn't do much for protection. They have yellow lamin-x film you can get that's along the same lines. You may get protection from the small grains of dirt that sandblast the lights with a film but when a big ol' rock comes, there's no protection like Toolguy's covers.

Unless you are looking for a little more yellow. I purchased the vinyl overlays from Ycart on Matrixowners.com then put on MVTG's lexan covers for protection, really good setup. Here are those pics.Your other option would be to get some 3000K HIDs that are yellow. My Setup:-6000k Xentec HIDs-HIR 9012 foglamp bulbs-Ycarts yellow overlays-MVTG's protectors
