WTB: 16" Alloy Wheels

Post by BK42 »

I'm looking for a set of wheels for my Dad's 2007 Vibe. I'm just looking for wheels as he just got new rubber recently. He's looking for OEM 16" Alloys, or 16" aftermarket. He says he'd consider 16" Matrix alloy wheels as well. The rims must be in good/excellent condition.I'm located Hamilton/Toronto and would prefer a local or at least close enough (1-2 hours drive) to avoid shipping costs.PM or email you're offers with description of age, condition, photos etc...Thanks in advancePatEdit: He's decided that aftermarked or OEM is fineEdit #2: Found a set

Found a set!

Post by BK42 »

Well I found a set a lot faster than I thought I would, story below. So I stopped by a wheel shop in Mississauga on my way back from Toronto today, just on impulse. I had gotten a few quotes from them last year for my Dad’s Vibe, and wanted to get the final prices and stuff.Well luck was on my side. They said they just got set of OEM 16” alloy wheels from a take-off, I took a look at them and they were perfect! The only downside was that my car was full of ski stuff I was bringing home from Toronto, and didn’t have room for the wheels. So I drove home, dropped off my stuff, grab his tires, drove back …waited, got the tires mounted and drove home. Well 150kms later, my Dad has a nice new set of wheels.

Is there a way of edited the main post title? I'd like to change it to say found or something like that.If a Mod could edit the title or just close this thread that would be great.

I picked them up from Tirecraft (Megawheelz) located on The Queensway. Haven't dealt with them before but nice looking shop and polite staff. They don't normally carry OEM, I just was in the right place at the right time.
