Driver Seat Creaky & Moves

http://www.matrixowners.com/tsb/T-NV013-06.pdfDriver seat was creaky and had some annoying movement in it.This was at start from stops and also stopping, sometime upon turns too.The Toyota Dealer first said that the bolts could be tightened and the TSB did not apply.Came back about 15 mins later and said Would Order a New Seat under Warranty, under the 36k or months and that Is covered under the TSB Notice.After waiting for special order of the new seat they called and I went in for install.The seat covering was the wrong color and they had to reorder.All went well the second time and after about an hour wait the seat was replaced.I got a copy of the Special Order and the seat was listed at $2400.00.Yes for a Matrix Driver Seat with cloth cover.No idea if that include labor.No noise now and seat seems to sit up better.Hope it lasts longer than original.

Have the same problem with my 03 vibe..but i have no warrenty left...drives me nuts sometimes..squeak squeak.....grrr.

My 04 Base just started this drivers seat squeeking this month. If no one has solved it for real (No $2400 seat replacement) I'll go out and take it out and trace it down. See if I can capture it with a picture.
