I thought this was interesting. Apparently in South Africa it is legal to install a flamethrower security system on your car. http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/afric....car/ They say it automatically fires flames out both sides of the car, doesn't matter where the intruder is. I could just imagine someone innocent walking by getting torched! Think they'll permit those here? edit: Wow, I just noticed that article is almost a decade old (12/1998)! I got the link from someone else. Wonder if the laws have changed.
