Thanks to all of you who gave advice about the flaps I guess I will save the money and just wash it more and keep the duster handy. I saw the new eagle one product line at my local automotive supply and then two days ago I saw an infomercial for the same products. Anyone have any experience with the nanowax and other nano products by eagle one. Thanks
I used the Eagle One Nanowax, and it seemed to be very easy to use. While i don't think it perfromed miracles with the swirl marks, it was a pretty good product. i guess i had higher hopes when they touted the "nanotechnology", but that may be just marketing hype - heck, that's part of the sales game !
Only Eagle One product I use is the WAx As-U-Dry. Good stuff for after a wash. Spray on when the car is wet and chamois or towel off with a water magnet towel. Gives the wax a little boost and keeps the finish smooth. Remember Meg's Quick Detailer is for dry cleaning your car.
I got one of those water magnets that whelan suggested works great on my car but the vibe not so much I still think I have a bad paint job but thats a different topic all together. thanks again
Paint on the Vibes is known to be thinner and more easily scratched, faded, etc. It has to due with the type of paint and thickness of the clearcoat. Fortunately I have a Trix so it's a little better.
You gotta ring it out really good after each use, it wouldn't hurt to throw it in the wash with some warm water either. I wash my microfibers and my magnet after each use in warm water on gentle cycle. One thing about the materials used in the magnet and microfiber is they LOVE warm water. The fibers open up releasing all the dirt and trapped debris thus keeping it longer lasting. You could go another step and get a crank roller that will really seep the water from the towel.
