Installing OEM utility bars

Post by ~MRVIBE2006~ »

I just purchased a set of the OEM utility bars and had a question: How does one install these? I can see that the racks go in the channel there between the OEM racks but I don't know how to get the end caps off to slide them in. Any suggestions? FYI: I got them at a dealership as these particular bars weren't available on any websites that I could find.

You have to pry the caps off, I believe there are 2 clips that hold them on, you just have to be careful when prying on them that you don't break anything... I think there's a write up somewhere here on how to do it.
