Just Got my Throttle-Body back.

Post by kevera »

It showed up in the post today.I got excited when I saw the box,I was even happier when I opened it.I got the TB bored and powder-coated,almost the same color as the Vibe(hard to tell from the pics).Needed to add a splash of color to the engine compartment, and maybe stuff a little more air in the s/c.

Looks Good, Kev! Enjoy your newfound power. You;ll have to let us know how much of a difference it makes with the S/C.

very nice. luckily, our tech can port and polish just about anything. He did my TGV deletes (cuts out the little valves and ports it) as well as port matched it to my intake manifold. I saw that Sears has a powercoating system... I'm tempted to pick one up.

Cool! I did my own well sanded the inside by hand. Doubt if I could feel anything but I am sure the air enters more smoothly. Anyway, cool nice part and you will have to fill us in on the details!

I noticed some nice little gains with my ported TB, added on a throttle rotor and it makes driving up those icey hills in duluth a little hard with all the monster torq spin

Thanks guys,I can't wait to put it on,but I might hold off till it warms up a bit.The color isn't exactly the same as the Vibe but close enough.I won't have to port match it,because the opening on the s/c is slighly larger than the throttle-body,so I'm good.It will be a nice addition with my new PPE header, can't wait.
