New Here -2008 with Onstar

I'm new to this forum and have been considering a 2008 Vibe. Does anyone know if the Onstar system in the 2008 MY is compatible with the Turn by Turn navigation offered by Onstar? The Onstar site doesn't even list the Vibe as an option and the Pontiac site is unclear. I asked the dealer, he seams to be confused.Anyone with this system?

Welcome to the site! And to your question, I don't see why not, if it has OnStar, I would think you'd be able to use all their features.

I think it has to do with equipment differences. The onstar site list's those vehicles with specific turn by turn abilities and those that don't seperately.

Welcome to the Forum. Did you not get documentation when you bought the car? It may be mentioed in the owners manual package.

No, the Vibe is not compatible with Turn By Turn.TBT requires Gen 7.0 hardware, the Vibe still ships with 6.1.
