Hello, Found this site surfing around and I'm glad I did.I'm in need of a new viscous coupler for my daughter's AWD Vibe. Pontiac says there are none available in the entire USA!!! However, Toyota does have them available. QUESTION:Are they the same parts (viscous coupler AWD Matrix/Vibe)Pontiac P/N 88969224Toyota P/N 41330-12040Thanks for any input.Dave

welcome to the family most vibe parts are re-labeled toyota parts. they usually jack the prices up tooi'd wait for TNpartsguy, i'm sure he'd have the answer

Welcome tothe site. If Toyota PArts can pull up the peice then chances are its the same one. Usually I find if its mechanical Toyota will have the idenitcal part and for cheaper.

tttNo firm answer??? I appreciate the input so far and the welcomes, very nice!Pontiac nor Toyota will either confirm or deny that the part numbers are interchanegable. With only 37k on the odmeter, I may try warranty possibilites. Don't hold out much hope for that though.
