New mod

Post by Herb »

Gee, I'm out of town for a weekend, and look what nature decided to do to my car while I was away! That's it, I'm keeping it parked until everything melts. I'll never get it up the steep alley and driveway now if I take it out. Good thing I just replaced the stock battery with a RedTop.

Ok, it looks like this kind of covering on Vibes is spreading. I thought I was the only one! Thanks for showing your pics of this phenomena. When I first saw our Vibe in this condition the other day, it looked like it was morphing into a PT. That was pretty scary for a moment. Luckily, we were able to knock off the changing agent before it hardened. Phew!

It's sorta funny, this is the third big snow dump we had this season so far, along with a bunch of smaller snow storms. Great for skiing, but my snow blower is in the repair shop now. We had a little refresher a couple of days ago, just 4 or 5 inches, and the blower couldn't toss it 2 feet. Had to shovel the driveway by hand, while it poured rain. That turned out to be a great 4 hour workout. I think we are getting a little snow logged around this part of the country. I'm not a big fan of hot weather, but 70 degrees sure sounds good to me right now!
