2008 North American International Auto Show pics

Here pics of the 2008 NAIAS Pre-Show I went to on Thursday. I don't like crowds so I go to the pre-show every year. WAAAAAAAAY less people and you can enjoy the cars more.Key cars:Vibe, Matrix, Audi R8 V12, G8, Camaro, Storm Trooper Avenger, Skyline(of course), nismo 350, Scion's display with crane game.BTW, I took a few pics and vids of Detroit to illustrate it's immaculate condition (removed)...We are driving in AJFlan's Vibe. I live about 20 minutes north of Detroit. Down town in the city itself is still nice but hte suburbs are a war zone and I believe it is rated the most dangerous city in America at this point in time. The vid clips are short and it is only a mildly bad neighborhood. Wow Paul, thanks man.!! I'm broke ATM, so I wasn't going to get to go, but you covered most of what I woulda been looking for..!!!I'm diggin the 09' Vibe a lot!! It's so smooth, I like the direction Pontiac is going with everything being molded in metal, rather than tacking on plastic, like so many years past... Thanks for getting the New WRX WRC car... I knew you were thinging of Hope, Mav and me on that one..!!! What the heck was that Subaru truck concept al about?? (it was a Subaru right?? The green one?)That yellow Scion xB looks like another 5 Axis creation... The last one was a rolling DJ booth IIRC..The Skyline GTR is HOT, there is a guy on NASIOC that already owns one, he's over seas... That Blue Ferrari was hot... The Camaro was sweetThat Dodge minivan was cool, the scoop was hinting at a SRT version, yes?? Did they have the challenger there to? That G8, it's the new Gran Prix? What the heck was that "race" type car right before the Vibes in the pics?? that Bio-mechanical looking car in the Dub area, it looks like so many of the Alpine cars..!! Was it?? Tha Black Vette in in the Michelin booth was just HOT HOT HOT... Man, thank you...!!

Yea, you got it, Suzuki lol!That orange/yellow Scion had a crane game in the back of it lol. Scion always has the best shows. They normally have live DJs and they give out free cds and games, sometimes hats, shirts, beanies. Why can't other car companies advertise the customization's of their sportier cars? IMO Scion has the greatest marketing ideas of any car company so far.DUB had advertisements for the new "Midnight Club" video game which I am VERY excited for The previews they had running looked great. I do believe the goofy black looking car was another one of Alpine's weird creations. The red one was a modified Mercedes SUV (the one that looks exactly like a Pacifica)....and OF COURSE DODGE DIDN'T HAVE THE THE CHALLENGER!!!! The Challenger is my dream car I don't care what anyone says and for whatever STUPID reason Dodge did not show it this year OR last year which really pisses me off.

thanks for the pics merzimo, that red vibe looks like crap. it looks decent tho in the gray/silver. maybe its one of those things you need to see in person but i dont see another vibe in my future

Awesome pics!! Looks like the 09 Vibe comes with Altezza type tail lights. I may trade in mine for the new one and start modding al over again.
