Post by WagonMafia »

Okay guys after thinking about all the feedback You've been leaving im abandoning the 15's there sold as of this morning. So I Went out and bought 2 12" RF P3, 4 6.5 Hi-Def Component Speakers, A Kenwood 4-Channel 800W AMP, A Kenwoood 2-Channel 1000W AMP, A Pioneer HU, an extra battery and box and all the wiring needed to complete this Nightmare. Ive been seaching for the perfect system for over 4 months and, every time it seem like it happens to change for some reasons or another. So what do you guys is this gonna work I appreciate all your help. I'll get you guys pics of it all as soon as i get home.

May I ask, why exactly would you just go and toss money at something, when obviously there are people VERY willing to help you guide you through it all?? Like the components?? Hi-Def, what the heck are those?? Did you at least listen to them (I hope so) and/or the second battery, do you understand that there are other parts needed to add a second battery, other than just wiring it up?? I'm not trying to be harsh on you, but crap.... (I sure wish I could use some expelitives here..lol)When you get home, please post links to the gear you bought.... I know you might notta wanted used, but I can almost guarentee that my directed gear would have done you VERY well.... and i'm not just trying to sell stuff, trust me, I spend WAY more time doing this stuff than I should.... lol.... I hope you got enough to buy ANOTHER 1000w amp for them P3's, there are power mongers... lol

oh well we've tried sublime!!So let start with this new baby. For the hu and the high def (I don't know what are these to lol)component and the amp for these, I think that this is good. It'll sound better than the original one for sure! Now the the subs and the KAC-X20 1000watt kenwood amp(as I suppose here), I've did some research for these p3, and like sublimewind said, they need lots of power. 500watt rms each is very cool, but with the 1000 watt kenwood amp you wont be able to use more than 50% of them, because the amp provides 260watts rms per channel(if you have the 2ohm p3's, if not, it's 180watt rms per channel)Now for the second baterie, I'm not familiar with that, but do you need a second alternator to, or does the one from the car can recharge 2 batt.To finish, even if you have a second batt, I would propose you to buy a capacitor of about 2 farad, because with a setup like that you don't want you voltage to drop, because that will affect the amp power, so less bass and more distortion....Even if I think that the sub amp is to small(if I have the right one) the sound that will come out of that vibe is going to be really great.

It's just "better" choices "could" be made...

Some of us have either done this professionaly or for a hobby, for a long time and take it as seriously as you... all of it is in effort to try and get you the BEST "bang-for-the-buck" So, please, don't hesitate with questions, pics, set-up ideas, problems.... cause many times answers are a simple question away...
