2002 VW Passat Bulb Change (quick question)

I'm stopping at my friends to change out her headlight after work. I know on my brothers Jetta the light had this case over the whole back that had to be removed to take the bulb off. Is there anything special I need to know before I just in and pop it out.

Yeah found a nice pdf online for it yesterday had it changed in 2 minutes. I never get tired of VW's and their quirks. To replace her passenger headlight, you have to pop some fancy plastic covering, then remove the middle section of the air intake tube to access it!When I changed the plugs on my fiance's 00 Cabrio when she had it, I had to take off the intake manifold to be able to reach the plugs that were underneath, how retarded. Talk about the most unfriendly cars to work on. Now I know why people won't touch these or Saabs.

If you own a Saab, that's all you will do. Once you know how to work on the car it isn't so bad. VW/Audi and Subaru are very similar. They have alot of unique tools to the brand. If you have the right tools it is simple. We had to buy a battery for my wifes Jetta a while ago and had to special order it, cuz nobody stocks the VW specific battery (I thought that was stupid).
