That was worth it! New Years

Post by Whelan »

So our plans for the house in VT fell apart. So we were ready to sit home have some dinner and ring in on a quiet note me and my fiance. We get a call from one of her brothers on Monday. "Hey why dont you guys drive down to Raleigh (NC) and have New Years with us." Totally could have done it, its about a 10 hour drive. But we decline and he comes back with "If we get you a flight would you come." Sure why not, we get off the phone and are like riiiiight. Ten minutes he calls us back. "Hey be at Bradley in Hartford tomorrow your flight leaves at 730am" Haha. We packed up, left at 430am, got to the airport, spent 45 minutes on the mac while one de-icer truck ran out of fluid and another had to come. Then finally after flying to BWI (Baltimore) and then to Raleigh/Durham (RDI), we arriced at 2pm, got setup for the party, like 40+ people showed up, drank till 330am, got up at 10am, left Raleigh at 12 noon and got home finally after another BWI transfer at 6pm. So all in all we spent 18 hours flying and 22 hours in a 48 hour period. But it was totally worth it for a one night party. Now I just have to drag through work and get to my barback job tonight at 7pm.

Man you sound like Kenny Tarmac with your RDI's and your BWI's. Glad you had a great time, Shooter!
