Has anyone put 205 60R 16 tires on their Vibe. I want to try them for 3 reasons: slightly softer ride, slightly better gas mileage and a more accurate speedometer (mine reads about 2 mph slow ** correction** it reads fast by 2 mph). From the online tire sizers they should be about .4 inches in radius larger. Any thoughts?

I had 205/60/16 Nokian WRs for 2 winters. Not a problem at all. Your speedometer will be even worse though because the 60s are larger in diameter by 3.1%. 60mph would show up as 58.1mph and in your case 56.1mph would be your actual speed.
Sorry...I meant to say my speedo reads fast. When the speedo says 60, the car is going 58 btw...thanks for the info. That's what I was hoping for. I thought they would fit with no problem, I just wanted to be sure.

I wonder if all the all the speedo's read inaccurate like that. My '04 has the exact same problem. The speed reading is accurate up to 40 mph, and then after that it starts to read faster than actual speed. Interestingly, the mileage records dead on accurate but the speed indicator reads too high. If you were to make this tire adjustment to correct the speed indicator, it'll start under-recording the miles. I checked mine on the interstate by watching the mile marker posts. The tenths digit keeps pace with the mile posts. GPS verifies the speed indicator is wrong above 40.
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code

I never checked the odometer against the gps....only the speed. One more thing to check I guess.
