You couldn't pay me to get up or stay up all night for the lame deals this year! My wife works at Kohls and was originally scheduled to work from 3:30am to Noon , but luckily she was able to get it changed to 5pm to Close(Midnight) . I feel sorry for those that have to work retail on Friday. But not the retail owners cause they will be raking in the dough that day. Kohl's does about $125,000 in business on a normal Saturday(their busiest day of the week), but on Black Friday they usually do close to $500,000 in business . It usually makes for breaks alot of businesses for their year end.Go to: http://www.bfads.net to check out the deals. Happy Shopping!

I'm in Cleveland right now and I noticed that there is some jacka** camping in a tent out front of Best Buy. The nice thing is that it is 30 F outside and a windchill of about 24 F
If God didn’t want us to eat meat, why did he make the cow so slow? (Ever eaten a cheetah-burger? Nope. And you never will.)
I think I will shop on line and get some good deals, no lines, free ship and no tax too. This afternoon I also noticed a group with pup tents, chairs etc. in the Best Buy lot on 494 and Lyndale. The last time wife and I went out on BF we ended up in the middle of a brawl with crazy people at a Walmart. No thanks!

well, we had our best run at CompUSA yet. in and out of the store within 26 mins. We got there about 8:30 pm, stood in line outside til they let us in at 9 pm. had everything and a few extras we had on our/my list, checked out and in the car on the road by 9:26 pm.
I hate B.F. people get all crazy, especially in Wal Mart like Schroeder said. I'd be up to online shopping, but to me it's not worth the waiting in the freezing cold all night to save a buck.
I worked, or am still working actually.I see no need to wait in line at stores for 5-10am discounts. No thank you. I enjoyed my traffic-less commute today.
I hate crowded places as it is so black friday combat shopping isn't for me. I can handle 26 mins of it at comp usa last night but thats about my limit.

pretty much all my shopping is now officially done. i just ahve to go in and get my price adjustments at BestBuy since they are not allowing returns or adjustments until after noon.

i'm crossing my fingers my contacts at Best Buy pull through for me next week. i want a Wii!!!! but i did get everything else on my shopping list. i have a few other items to pick up, but nothing that will require fighting crowds for.
Yep... bought a $500 110CC motorcycle from Pep Boys b4 11 am on Friday. Some say Chinese junk, but I say cheap disposable fun for the $.Bought a XBox 360 bundle on Saturday for $350. We bought Halo 3 and got Tony Hawk proving ground free.
