I had front end body repair to my 2004 Pontiac Vibe and now the bumper that was repaired is starting to push outward. They stated that is was nothing they did wrong and that it looked like it was in another accident. It was NOT in another accident and there is nothing that would indicate that. There are no scratches or damage consistant with an accident. This should be repaired under warranty and is unacceptable. What can I do about this/who else can I contact?
Wow, I have no idea where to send you for this one. Maybe try taking it to another shop, have them put it in writing that it needs to be fixed and take it back to the $tealer.

Well it would not be a matter for warranty since the original repair was performed due to an accident. This is now an issue of workmanship and not something GM can help you with as far as warranty is concerned. You need to either take this up with the bodyshop manager or maybe the store manager. If you have already and they are saying they are not doing anything... well your sol. Another dealership will not fix for free a mistake another dealership made.check your plastic tabs that hold everything in place. I know mine had a habit of popping out and I'd notice my bumper becoming loose.

Sorry to say it, but it looks like someone may have backed into you especially with the chips. They probably hit your license plate holder so that may be why you don't see any other signs of it. Another possibility would be if your car towed at all since it was fixed.

Is there anyhting indicating anything on the other side??
I have to say the same thing.Judging by this picture, something isn't right. The lines don't match up on the hood and the front facia.I would check to see if there is any scrapes or indication of being hit. Also check to see if the front bumper is loose.

it also looks like from the last repair that they did a bit of bondo over where one of the clips happen to line up under the headlamp.I have to agree that it does look like someone backed in to you.take a close look at your front plate, see any scratches?I also notice some what looks like blue paint down under the headlamp on the black cladding. That is most likely what happened. someone hit the black cladding and pushed the bumper up, knocking out the bondo from the last repair under the headlamp, breaking the clip under the lamp in the process. Pop the hood and look at the plastic clips to see if they are broken as well.I also noticed what looked like some white paint on the fenderMaybe as someone was pulling in next to you hit the front fender pushing it in just enough to catch the seperation between the fender and the bumper, pushing the bumper up just enough to hit the head lamp and knock out the bondo and paint that was once there.
