roof crossrails and xm radio antenna blocking installation?

Post by waveresponder »

how do you install the crossrails for the roofrack if you have xm radio?..i know the regular antenna unscrews, and you have to unscrew two screws on the roof rails themselves...but i still have the xm antenna in the way!....what do i do now?

yah ill get a pic up on monday during work hopefully since im busy all day tomorroa...although the crossrails are on now...i never renewed my subscription for the XM..maybe i will some day...i ended up pulling the rubber stub off and exposed two metal piecess sticking up in the air...one was able to bend..but after me being impatient and shoving they snapped...oh well hopefully the reception wont be that bad...i havnt checked the trial channels yet to see if they still work...i just stuck everything back on and looks like i didnt even touch it...lol..
