Enzo Ferrari is rolling in his grave...

Post by millster »

Ever have one of those moments where you curse yourself for not having your digital camera on you at all times? Today I was driving home from getting my dinner, lightly snacking on my fries when something in front of me almost made me choke! There sat a banana yellow Isuzu Vehicross. While that may not seem like much of a sighting, the badging is what threw me. The Isuzu had been removed from the back, and in it's place was the word Ferrari. This thing was badged to the hilt to look like a Ferrari, the horses on the fenders and all. What kind of sick person would defile the Ferrari name by putting it all over an abomonation like the Vehicross? For those of you not familiar with the Vehicross, I've included a picture. Incidentally, it's even the same color. I really wish I could have snapped a photo of this one though...

I guess I've just never been a big fan of it. I guess for $30,000+ I would expect more. They are pretty plush, and certainly a capable vehicle, but the looks turn me away. They kind of did the same thing as the Aztek though, it was only made for a couple of years.

Talk about blind spots in SUVs.... It doesn't look like you'd be able to see anything out to the sides/rear.

It looks different, just like the vibe did the first time I saw it. I like it.

The vehicle looks ok for an SUV, but to put Ferrari emblems on it??? What was this person thinking? Poor Enzo is probably choking in his grave!

That hideous thing has to be among the most ugly cars on the road. I remember seeing it at the Pittsburgh car show before they were available for sale. It was the ugliest thing at the show. Enzo Ferrari should be granted permission from God to come back to life just long enough to set that thing on fire so he can stick up for his good name.

That would be a disgrace to see as well. Do people actually think that makes the car look cooler?

Don't get me wrong, I like decals as well. I have a few on my Vibe. But to put other vehicles decals or decals that have nothing to do with your car look ridiculous.
