Just like last week, here are some pics/vids of one of the Gallardos. The yellow one is Ken's. I'm not sure who owns the black one but it was very kind of him to park by my Vibe for some good shots (removed) Don't feel obligated to comment on all of these cars I'm posting pics of, I just wanted to share them with the members here that are interested. I know that it is one thing to see one of these cars in a magazine or at a dealership but it is a completely different experience when you see one actually driving on the road which makes them that much better

on this last one ill get pics up from my iphone, but we had like 4 lotus's 2 elise and 2 esprit's, one was v8 turbo and us in the cobalt just romped past it but that thing sounded sweet. the Evo MR was cool, he had a camera in it so maybe ill get some vid from him.

Reminds me of the highway battles we used to have a couple years ago on the way to Woodward from a car meet we went to. About 20 cars on a good night on the freeway all going over 100mph in an out of traffic. Way more dangerous and risky but definitely a rush.
2007 Chevy Cobalt SS SC. Has the Stage1 kit installed, Stage 2 is waiting for install, with GMPP exhaust. 2.0L I-4, even with FI can get 35mpg on the hwy if driven out of boost in 5th gear, oh manual gearbox, and I think he gets 25-28 driving in the city semi fast. He can take pretty much all v6's, beat my moms 3.5L malibu once he hit 3rd gear. I drove it and wow that thing pulls. First gear it to short (towing? idk no one likes first with this car) but the rest of the gears 2-5th are nice and tall. I think they can hit 80mph in 3rd... He beat a honda crx turbo because of the tall gears i do remember that. I think they said 200hp stock but many dyno'd at 210-220. There a twin charge kit coming laying down like 400hp, Also a twin screw SC kit. GM offers a stage 3 kit with NOS and can rev to like 8k with bigger injectors and smaller pully. They are almost the exact same as the saturn ion redline, but the redline has the 4 doors (suicide on the back 2) and the engine is move a little s othe parts sometimes cannot be used on both, thus the cobalt SS SC is faster. 300hp is fairly easy to get with some bolt ons.... The 2009 is rumored to be a 2.0L I-4 Turbo with direct fuel injection (brand new engine).
i need some!! I am still wondering if i should get a diy kit and install them...someone else here did that.. I really miss heated side mirrors....uhh miss them so much.
Merz: to get back on subject, as usual some sweet pics of the cars!I like the gallardo, but it just doesn't have that Ferrari appeal for me... I guess for me it's gotta have that prancing horse.
Interesting fact: Kens' Gallardo's right rear tail light had condensation under the lens. It just shows that even though these cars are so expensive, they are not flawless. I would still do horrible things to get one though.
north... i can hit 80 in 3rd merz... you better make sure you stay on his good side, maybe he'll will one of his babies to you i love that hatchback in the 7th n 9th pics. i bet the owner of that is pretty groovy
