My new phone (in a month)

Since my contract is coming due and I love my LG VX8100 w/ Verizon, I'm sticking with 'em, plus I get $100 credit. So I'm picking up this beauty, the LG Venus. Touch screen, slider phone. Hotness! I thought about the voyager which is essentially an iphone but I don't like things that bulky and the price is sure to be a lot.

cool...but honestly i dont think its that much diffrent than my Verizon LG black chocolate...the only thing i dont like about it being touch/heat sensitive is when you hold it up to your ear with your shoulder (no hands) it has a tendancy of exiting out by mistak cuz of my chin touching buttons...(not good when im trying to give the hospital a report in the back of an ambulance...lol)

lol, yeah can't talk and drive in my state unless you have BT. Plus I don't hold the phone that close to my mouth.

nice! I've got to wait until Jan. but then I plan on picking up a new one.. my last one is a flip, and I don't care for it, so I'll probably go with a slide, looks nice!

iphone = change service, pay at least $100 more, don't need a mp3 player, have an ipod video already.LG Venus = cheaper, stick with a better network (Verizon owns around here). Not to mention an iphone would cost me almost $300. I would only paymaybe $50 out of pocket for this. $100 customer appreciation and going for full contract of 2 years (I'm on year 8). And I get a 19% discount on my Verizon bill through work!
