2007 Massive Car Show (loads of pics not 56k)

Post by Whelan »

OK, so we got there to register at 830am. This place was packed! Total over 1500 registered cars, and another full lot of cars that just came and made there own mini show because the registration could not take any more cars. It was insane!! Even the guy Dennis Gage from My Classic Car Television was there doing a show so I may be in some background during the episode. There are pics of him in here too. They had many different areas, trucks, modifieds, drag cars, etc. They started up a top fuel dragster there and that was intensely loud. We were there till almost 5pm, what a day! Enjoy!!!P.S. - My buddies Camaro is the second to last car.Overall view of the show, each is from a different area Here are the cars! Some people really got into costume, this couple was pure to the year of their Ford Model TDennisa Gage of My Classic Car in a shoot!

That was almost as nice as our Virginia Beach min-meet.

Some tidbits about the cars there" -Shelby GT350's, 3 of them with a 4th blue with white stripes with Carroll signature, others were white with blue stripes.-Superbird (very rare one as it had the 6BBL, only 1,920 made)-AMC AMX's, saw 3 there, two dark green one a custom lime green.-1500HP Malibu (the pink car in the pics), had a cool box in the backseat where the big 5" intake pipes (shown on the passenger side of the engine) ran into a box with the fuel lines and then back to the motor.-Buck Grand Nationals (got a pic of one above, but no GNx, just about 3 GN's, still love 'em)-split windshield Vettes, only made for about 6 months then changed due to view obstruction (must have been 4 or 5 there, one out of shape the others gorgeous. Easily a high dollar car.-GTX, yes a real authenticated GTX completely restored, very rare car.-Authentic Hemi Cuda's (2)-Amphibicar, up above the boatmobile, only seen one on TV before.Also:-Dodge Vipers (R/T 10's and GTS')-top fuel dragster (started it up for us, the alcohol made me tear up)-Shelby Cobra kit cars-a woody owned and signed by the beach boys-Saleen F150-Dodge Ram R/T 10 w/ the Viper motor-old late 40's early 50's milkman truck-1903 Oldsmobile (single lever steering, no brakes)
