Post by tattooboypr »

I have a 2005 Toyota Matrix and I bough the power windows and power locks because mine doesn't have it. I checked and the plugs doesn't have the same wire quantity. Please give me some light here.... What things i need extra to turn my matrix with power windows and Locks.

Step 1) Move hand to window selection buttonsStep 2) Select window based on configurationStep 3) Press and hold button until window is completely down or up.You should have the following for this:-actuactors, relays, fuses, wiring, motors, slides, all that fun stuff.Wiring in the stock window controls is not an easy task thats for sure. You need to tap into the fuse panel, have wires going to the fuse panel from the power supply, then to the window switch. Not to mention the motors need to be attached, the slides put in place. Personally I would not have gone through the hassle of installing power windows if it did not come with them.Did you buy the car new without them or without. and if so, why didn't you get them? Personally, bring it to the dealer or instlal shop and let them deal with it.
