extra part??

Hello, I am the proud owner of a 2005 Vibe. I had an extra parts in the strorage bin under the rear cargo liner, it is PN 52121-01050. It is a black plastic part, about 14 inches long, 3 inches wide, one edge is straight the other is curved. It is in a sealed bag along with 2 screws, what is it? Thanks for your help!!

welcome to the family. oh yeah, there are always extra parts when people build/work on cars. they just forgot to take it out so you wouldn't know from the description you gave, it seems like a front plate bracket. it's back there for the dealer to put on in states/provinces that require a front license plate. i've been tryna look up the part #, but i haven't found anything yet. if you can take a pic of it (and your car, cuz we love pics hint hint), that would help a lot. but if you don't need it, i wouldn't put it on. i think the vibe looks a lot cleaner without it
