So I just bought an '06 Vibe, I like it a lot so far (though at high speed its not the smoothest ride ever). I'm looking for a good trunk organizer that fits the Vibes trunk well. I usually keep a some emergency tools, coolant, water (I live in a desert!) maps, a baseball glove (never know when a game of baseball will randomly break out!), and a bunch of other junk in my trunk. If anyone has any recommendations on a particular organizer that fits the Vibe well, I'd greatly appreciate it.
hey hoover, welcome to the family.i don't have an organizer in my vibe, but i have the seat back organizers that i keep some screwdrivers in, and i have a couple wrenches n stuff in the voids under the cargo area lid by the spare tire. i did a search for "cargo organizer" and got 5 results that might be able to help you. check it outrichard: what i do when i'm loadin up from a trip to the store is take one of the tie downs that came with the car and run it through the handles on the bag(s), and hook the strap up to the top rings in the cargo area closest to the hatch. stuff will still move a lil bit during turns, but nothin will fall outta the bags

Yah I've searched online, lots of results, but I just was hoping maybe Pontiac or some 3rd party made something specifically, or if there was a particular organizer that was known to fit quite well w/ the Vibe.
no i meant on here, there's a search feature. it's towards the top right side of the page, just under the ads. i don't think pontiac makes a vibe specific organizer. i could be wrong thoughIMO if you're gonna have liquids in the back at all times, i'd recommend something plastic. like a small rubbermaid bin, just in case somethin leaks. i lived in phoenix for a couple years, n now i live in the palm springs area which is just as hot, and i've seen water jugs leak due to the heat

Welcome and congrats! Pics...Pics!!! Don't they make one? I've seen it on eBay once in awhile. It folds flat or something. When I go to SamsClub, I usually just put the heavier cases of bottled water, etc. around and the lighter items in the middle. Or on the floor in the back.
Try these threads --> http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=12607and --> http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=9707First, I'd recommend the Pontiac Vibe trunk carpet mat. That keeps heavier cargo from sliding. Then, Pontiac (and Toyota) make two piece nets, one fits on the left (driver's) side using the metal hooks and another fits across the back 'tailgate' area.Third, I velcro-ed three small plastic 'milk cartons' from Dollar Tree together. It fits in the footwell when I need to fold down the rear seats and use the full area, and it doesn't slide on the carpeting. Each 'milk carton' will hold a gallon jug of water. Here's are some current photos... (pardon the junk)

Between the cargo nets and the storage area under the cargo area floor, I keep jumper cables, coolant, tie downs, tools (including my universal lug wrench, since the one that came with my Vibe wouldn't fit the lug nuts on my wheels), some plastic sheets, and duct tape (holdovers I used to waterproof stuff in the bed of my old truck).
