I looks like Storm Trooper may be going away already, but, not Sublimewind

Post by Sublimewind »

Hi all,I have some good news and some bad news... The good news is, i'm buying my DREAM car, that bad news is, i'm prolly giving up StormTrooper for a 97' Geo Metro... As far as my DREAM car, look here... http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=29970.... I've owned a Suberu Impreza RS since i graduated from ITT Technical in 98' and it's been the BEST car i've owned and one of the best running cars i've HERD of on all my time on NASIOC.com... Mine is falling apart out from under me, but, my new friends Christan is selling me his that he has poured his heart and soul into for the past 7yrs... No, i don't get the enjoyment of doing all the work myself and quite frankly, i don't know if it would have ever happend, had it been left up to me.... As far as StormTrooper..He was not mine anyway... My mother and I decided that because of my 90mi per day commute, i should have the car after my Grandmother passed away in May. I decided that i REALLY didn't want to kill the car with ~2000mi a month and it just so happens that a guy at work offered to sell me his 97' Geo Metro, that has been his commuter car. It's in great shape, it does have 100k on it, but, both people who have owned it have driven it very "grandpa like" the whole time... I've been in the car and besides needing a good cleaning, it's in great shape... As much as i would LOVE to drive StormTrooper every day, a 1.0l 3 cylinder has GOT to get better milage AND i won't care if it gets another 100k put on it... I am hoping he will come back to me with a 5-6-700$ offer... IF he doesn't sell me the Geo, i WILL be keeping StormTrooper, but, being such a nice car, i won't like putting all the miles on it.... So, if he does go away, i doubt i will... I love this place, it's been as good to me as NASIOC and it's a MUCH nicer place to hang.... Cheers,Aaron

Well, on my other forums, they always say membership os "non-refundable" So i will be around spreading the knowledge... I may end up keeping the Vibe, i really don't know yet... What sucks is i KNOW that the Geo is less comfortable, but, i also know it will get better milage and i won't be worried about messing it up in the winter... I will be getting winter tire, so i'll be safer than on all-seasons... GenVibe stickers are in the works for the Vibe, i donno about the Subie though... i'm not sure what i'm going to do, besides rub it with a diaper and drool all over it...
