whats a good battery? Mine just died so i am gettin a new one in the morning.

I replaced mine with a 540cca AC Delco, it was alright - better than the stock piece of crap.

I think the Autozone Duralast got a good rating in Consumer Reports - here the 500 CCA is $60; 640 CCA $70. I think they install free. I wonder what the price of the Delco 540 CCA is. My original is almost 5 years old so I am going to have to replace it before winter. Sam's Club was always my source for auto batteries but I am no longer a member. Unlike the old days Sears aka K-Mart charges for installation so IMO their DiHard's are no longer price competitive. Not a difficult job to install but I'd rather not do it.

well no batteries last longer than two years down here in arizona. the heat just kills them, so i got one that has a 3 year warranty!
