i dunno sublime our personality tastes must be way off because the only one of those that i would even kind of like is the last one...the car looks weird...the proportions aren't normal and those wheels are too small and to widely spaced i think. i would have to vote in favor of "gay"

It's just that the micro-car revolution is "just" hitting the states... in other countries, they have had these and other micro-boxes for years... I personaly thing they are hot, but, i'm fine with agreeing to dissagree... but to say they are gey..... come one now...

i agree with sublimewind, that car is something i could see myself haviing fun in!!! 7.9second 0-60 is still better than my GT and i think that car would get better gas mileage and have better handlingi think that they look pretty pimp too, some of the ones that he posted are quite clean but some have have some "gay" rims...*shrug*
'04 lava GTSRI, Progress rear sway bar, Infinity reference backs, components in the front, Infinity Kappa 124.7w sub, Alphasonik 600rms@2ohms for the sub, alpine head unit, worst paint ever!
it all boils down to power to weight ratio...sure this car only produces 150hp stock but weighs what... 2000lbs? that puts it easily in line with like cobalt ss and things of that nature.
So......Exactly how many horsepower does the fancy custom tow hook thingy add if you leave it screwed into the front bumper? I saw that pic and tried it on my Hyundai Accent, I couldn't believe the difference in how the car pulled with the hook still in the bumper - and that was the stock hook! Dyno results are in the works once my custom tow hook is installed. Ahem, anyway at like 2300 pounds, I guess a turbocharged yaris will move pretty good but it sounds a bit dangerous not to mention scary being in something that small going super fast... However, I'm sure the carnies are drooling over the turbo option since they'll finally have a clown car that will still move once they cram like thirty clowns inside. Sorry folks, I just can't help but be reminded of a clown car when I see the yaris hatch. The sedan is ok-ish but still weird on the outside, but that horrible center-mounted everything on the dash has got to go. *barf* I guess the Yaris is a bit too unconventional for my tastes. I'll have to pass on the tubro yaris... If I absolutely had to have a turbo econobox,I'd rather just get the turbo kit for what I have. But to me, that defeats the purpose of buying an econobox in the first place.

Alot of times you can/will get better gas milage on a turbo'd vehicle...and your not always going to be in boost so the great milage is still gonna be there. The Yaris is a funky looking car.

I donno, i would drive one... i would mod one to look HOT to... If i had it to do, i would do it like this....All of you realize that they RACE these ALL the time, espically in Japan, there they are the Vitz and if any of you have ever played Grand Turismo, you know that there has always been a Vitz race on that and it's YEARS old.... Like i said, we are just now really getting into the micro-box cars, it will continue to grow with ever higher gas prices...
AH I love GT on playstation..hahha yes I do rememeber the vitz and other micro car races...they are fun! America is obsessed with big, so seeing these cars can make some people cringe. But with the gas mileage they get and how much you can fit considering their size...They are sweet cars. when modded to the owners preference can look fantastic as well!
