This is one GREAT Day!

Post by PHXLavaVibe »

>> First of all today is the expected birthday of my Daughter, and there is still no sign of her comming any time soon Second...I left for work this morning and found that my Vibe had been sideswiped by some degenerate A-hole over night. I live in an apartment complex without reserved parking and there is no way to know for sure who did it. Aparently whoever was parked next to me decided to back out of their spot at a 90 degree angle and left a beautiful white paint transfer all along the Rear Driver's side door all the way to the back bumper. Most of it whiped off but there are some areas that were pretty deep and will need some touch up paint. My insurance is more than willing to pay for the damages as long as I fork out 500 to 1500 in deductables. As some of you may have noticed from my previous posts...there was prior damage in the same area. It is very noticable that there was previous damage and more than likely (from what my insurance company said), if they send out an adjuster to inspect the damage they would have to write up multiple claims which would mean multiple deductables at $500 a pop. It makes sence but there is no way I can afford to throw away that kind of money with my baby due any minute. If I find a POS white car in my complex with red transfer paint on it's front end...There will be HELL to pay!!! The least they could have done was leave a sorry note or something. Preferably an insurance card...something...anything! More than likely they are one of several Illeagal Non-English speaking SOB's that come in and out of our complex on a daily routine. I'm not joking either...I literally see Immigration officers weekly or at least I did for quite some time. God, I can't wait to buy a house (with a garage) and get away from all this BS.Third bad thing was finding out that three of my favorite co-workers have decided to leave the company and start their own buisness together. It's not that it's a bad thing really, but it will suck not having them here!

That sucks about your car!But about the coworkers leaving - I always look at this as a good thing because it means you have contacts outside your company now, should anything happen to you at your company. Networking.

Sorry to hear about your Vibe... the other driver was probably drunk or just stupid. And Sputnik is right, network, network, network.

Yeah babies never come when they're due - they're either early or late.

Sorry to hear about your vibe. That sucks!Like stated previously, babies hardly ever come on time, but when she comes, it will make everything else seem irrelevant at least for the next few days.

Yeah, I have first hand experience at the whole babies come when they damn well feel like it. I am getting really sick and tired (Literally) of this waiting game. We had our 40 week doctors appointment yesterday. They put my wife through a Non-Stress-Test where they strap a heart rate monitor around here belly and record the baby's heart rate. That lasted about 20 minutes and then the doctor said that everything was beautiful and that he was going to have us wait it out a little longer. If we make it another week then he will discuss inducing labor. He also said that this was our last office visit, which pretty much meant that regardless of what happens we will have the baby by next week.I can't wait! All the anticipation has really taken it's toll on me. It's strange because my wife has been feeling great despite a couple Braxton Hicks and I have been a complete reck. I can't seem to eat, sleep or do anything. It's been this way for a few weeks now. The scary part is that I don't have an appatite. I can look at some of my favorite junk foods and all I want to do is pray to the porcelan god. I have become very weak and aggressive.
