i know these lil' 4 bangers make noise and it is normal. is there any thing u can do besides pump up the monsoon? thanx carl442

well for the front it may be sorta hard, because of the dash and firewall but theres that noise deadening mat stuff for audio thigns. Dynamat? Bluecrush did a lot of that mat placement in his car I know and it helped some. He said a lot of the noise came from the rear end too...he should post up soon..

Yeah, theres not much you can do for the engine noise itself. I went from a CAI to a SRI to the stock airbox with an K&N and then to the OEM filter. (That probably helped the most with intake noise). I also used FatMat on the floor/cargo area and foil-backed foam on the doors which helped with road and exhaust noise. The noise from the rear that NV is referring to is from my custom exhaust.

everyone needs exhuast though haha. For the engine... yeah all I can think of is 3m double sided tape for the ratting plastic A pillars...mine go nuts sometimes....
