Bill Engeval does the Here's your sign routineI just finally have to brag about oneI was washing the car in the driveway when a neighbour who I joke around with comes up the way and says "Washing the car? eh!" I replied "Nope, I'm watering it hoping tomorrow it will be a Cadillac"I had to share it.

I had a good one yesterday! Everyone here at the office knows that I am expecting our baby to arrive any minute now. I took Tuesday off because I was feeling pretty sick. When I came into work yesterday everyone was shocked to see me. Aparently no one spread the word that I was out sick instead of being out for the delivery. It is also known that when the time does come that I will be out of the office for 2 weeks of vacation. So, I had some fun with a few people.I must have had around 15 people come up to me through out the day asking if the baby came yet. A majority of the time I just said "not yet" but for a select few I had to hand out signs.The question..."You're here! Did your wife have the baby yet?"My answer..."Yeah, I took one look at that baby and said screw this, I'm going back to work!"The look on their faces was priceless! Needless to say they went quiet and walked away.

waiting for the bus a few years ago. it justs stopped raining, so the bench was wet. i got a newspaper and put it on the bench to keep my (removed) dry. some guy comes up a little while later and goes 'you reading that newspaper?' so i looked at him for a few seconds and then said 'yeah.' i stood up, turned the page and sat down again.
