Anyone driven an '06+ Civic?

Post by cs1992 »

I don't know why, but I really like the new Civic, particularly the 4-door sedan. Although I am happy with my Vibe, I am curious to how the Civic handles and its fuel economy. Every time I see one on the road, I always wonder what if I had bought one instead of my Vibe.

Mrizzle has a 4 door si, he says he likes it but I am unsure of the more basic models. I dont think they get as good of mileage as the vibe.... and honda's have the highest theft rate...so i stay away from them.... They do look pretty good though.

My cousin wants one and the head room is Okay if you are shorter than 5'9" I am 6'1" and I constantly hit my head on the roof. Not to mention my shoulders feel like they are sticking out the windows when I drive.

well i was lookin at both models, base and Si for the 4-door.I personally liked the lights more then the coupe tails.base model, the seats arent all that great looking, but prolly more comfortable then the vibes (IMHO)the headroom isnt too bad... im 5'-8" and still have some room.the civic looks good if you get a good color and the alloys, with hubcaps, it looks kinda ugly.the interior isnt that bad, and you get used to the dual gauges.Thats all i can remember bout the base sedan...*edit*pricing the base model to the SI, it wasnt that much less then the Si in cali. maybe like 1500 less for some and the ex model was almost as much as a Si.

It looks cool inside, I've always been a fan of digital gauges (I must say, I miss the 80's sometimes. .) I've only sat in one for less than a couple minutes but I had trouble getting comfortable and felt really cramped. I get all claustrophobic and stuff, it wasn't a good feeling. lol! I think they took the sporty thing a bit too far.

If they made a hatch in this new body style i would have had one the day it hit the market, the 4door was very tempting, But have to say probably one of the best all around cars in the market you will fine and the SI is a rocket ship all you have to do is sit inside one and the car oooozes quailty id buy one
