engine check light?

Post by Ninja_Logan »

My engine check light just came on today? Is it due to the cold air intake? Cuz I've had it on there for a week now and the light just now turned on so I am confused... the piping and everything is still on tight.Any ideas why it could be on?

Check all connections. Maybe something became loose. Or you over-oiled your filter and ****ted up your MAF. Even better, get a code reader or go into a shop that'll do it for free and let us know what code it's giving you.

What year Vibe and which CAI? I have the same problem with my 05 and my Cosmo CAI. It ran fine for a little over a week and then BAM, I get a CEL for "Engine Too Lean".
