DC 4-2-1 headers

Post by WaveAction »

quick question about them...anyone else have them? if so do you notice much of a performance gain with it? my main question is do you think it helps the fuel milage or makes it worse? this is one mod i'd love to do but if it'll make my fuel worse then it really isnt worth it..im more of a gas saver guy then a 13 second car guy

it cant hurt milage, other than u will have more horsepower to spend resulting in more gas that can be used, its like how my GT is, its the same for the base but i have the option to use my rpm range and i cant help but to. resulting in 25mpg average per tank

I have one and it's fantastic! I think it gave the most noticeable power gain between CAI, Magnaflow and header. It really improves the pulling power when climbing long hills at highway speeds. Much less downshifting is required. Get it from http://neverenoughauto.com/cat....html Have it shipped to The UPS Store in Niagra Falls, NY. and pick it up down there, they only charge $5.00 to receive it for you. You pay tax and GST at the border and you save a pile of money that UPS charges for brokerage fees if they ship it to Canada.

I have it and I love it. If you don't use the new found power, you will not notice any change in mpg.

I have one and I like it. I haven't noticed any decrease in fuel mileage. If anything, it is better. The power gains are most noticeable in the upper RPM range. When I "get on it" I receive a lot of looks from people on the streets.

It's not worth it on a GT. The GT already has a good exhaust manifold. The base manifold is one rusty turd, though. Get rid of it at all costs!
