I've been looking for a hood for my GA. I'm switching the front around and needed a hood for it. So, I called around and finally found one. 3 hours away. So, my brother and I hopped into the Vibe and cruised from Lancaster to Scranton, PA., about a 2.5-3 hour drive. So, we get there, get the hood off the car in like 10 minutes, pay for it and I open the back. We *try* to slip the hood into the back, but...it doesnt fit. This makes me angry. LoL (I have a short temper) So, we decide to put it on the roof rack. But, no tie downs. So, my bro stays with the hood, and I drive about a mile to the nearest Olies, pick up some tie downs and return. But, the cheap tie downs I got are just that, cheap, and have no racthening device. So, I head back, get some other ones, and these things....are...well, strange. So, about 2 hours after getting the hood, we have it on the roof pretty secure. We stopped at an Auto zone and picked up some real tie downs and home we went. So, the Vibes rack comes in very handy. If I would have had a Matrix, the hood will still be 3 hours away and I'd be out $150.

The roof rack is one of the reasons I bought the Vibe over Matrix (that and the styling as a whole). It is one of those things you do not think about until you need it.
Shadow Vibe - two tone (almost no need for the monotone in this color IMHO) - slate interior - power package - moon and tunes - abs - 16" aluminum wheels - and the GD on the radio! http://www.cardomain.com/id/db_vibe
