In my opinion,axle-backs are not worth the money.I would spend the extra hundred or so dollars and get a full cat-back system.

aint the only real diff is the cat back has more NEW pipe than and axel back? all i want to do is get a nice deep mellow tone and if i can get that w/o spending the few xtra hundred bucks then why not huh? so what is the gain in getting cat back vs. axel back?

It's your money, not mine.I just do it right the first time. The cat-back is more new pipe, yeah, with bigger resonator and larger diameter piping.I don't know the exact hp increases, but the cat-back has a better increase than an axle-back.Most of the exhaust systems for the Vibe/Matrix sound very deep and mellow. It's your choice.

I have the magnaflow, and you won't be disappointed. It doesn't sound ricey, but a deep mellow tone. This guy has the best prices for them, might as well spend the extra hundred dollars and get what you want.http://www.neverenoughauto.com...=1687

mostly all the availible exhaust for the vibe are axle back i believe only magnaflow is cat back which involves cutting and clamping or welding. but there are some nice sounding ones and they all give about the same power increase.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!

as long as you are aware, the magnaflow requires you to cut the stock system.. if you were looking to go the "bolt on" route, i would sway towards the axle back. If money doesn't matter, have one custom fab'd to your specs.
