I don't actually have my 03 vibe yet. Picking it up next week. But...wondering about the gps system. From what I understand, it's a stock model. My question is regarding adding a disc changer to the system. The six speaker system produces great quality sound and on my test drives I was impressed with the nav functions (what I had time to fiddle with anyways). My issue is that the system only accepts one disc at a time. So if I want to use the nav, I can't listen to a cd. Can I get a multi disc changer to add to this system? Thanks...
The factory installed GPS system came with a factory installed remote 6 disc changer under one of the front seats.Even before you get the car, you can read up about it, all the owners manuals and even the Navigation supplements are available for download at http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1010.Good luck waiting for the car to come. Times like that I have little patience, I made the decision to buy, I want it NOW!!!!
oh i was thinking if they had gps it must have the moons and toons...or at least a 6 disc...then i type a reply and away that thought went... wish i had those packages on my vibe!
My stock GPS system was a Joke - I dunno how some of you managed to find any good in it. But I wish I did! I ended up dishing out $2,600 for a Pioneer AVICN1 which crapped out on me - So I went to the ACIVN3 for about $1,600... Hadn't much luck in that department all together!
