having a very annoying problem.

Post by injun_josh »

as of late, everytime i put gas in, the gas nozzle clicks and stops like it is full of gas, even if the car is empty. it has even over flowed once. it takes me like 5 minutes to put in 20 bucks worth cause i have to constantly wait for the gas to drain into the tank. anybody ever had this prob? im gonna get under the car this weekend .

I feel when this happens, it is the pump/nozzle not the car itself. If I am understanding you correctly...Try, if you have not, pulling the nozzle away from the filler neck a little so the fumes can escape easier. You may have to really watch so it does not over flow on you though when you do this.

either a pump issue or filler neck issue. Try another pump and see what happens, that will determine if its the car and not the gas station. Now by your description though it seems its been doing this for a while? then if so probably is the car.
