I called the Pontiac dealership for a new rear window wiper w/frame, $24. Blade Refill $18. Wiper blade w/frame and arm $39I called the Toyota dealer Wiper w/frame $15. Wiper blade refill $2.99. Guess where I went. All I needed to do was reuse the two metal strips that go along the rubber refill and feed it into the frame.

GM has to buy the same pieces at the same price we would from toyota. So GM not wanting to miss a profit jack up the price.
Frames never really go bad, they are just on pivots and no spring. The rubber and two small strips of metal provide the suspension for the blade, those are what wear, rubber gets cracked and roughed up and the metal strips lose their spring. I pay $8 for wiper refills for the front and $3 for the rear on my yota. I need to get some this summer, I usually replace them twice a year, once around spring and again before winter season.

It's weird to open an AC Delco box and find a Toyota part inside with a Toyota part#. I buy the wiper inserts for the rear wiper from Toyota, they are much cheaper.
