“Convenience Package” for the Vibe?

Post by ajconover »

I have a lead for a good deal on a low mileage used vibe (2006 "program vehicle") and one of the listed features is the Pontiac “Convenience Package”.... which I didn't think ever existed on the Vibe. On the Pontiac Solstice, this includes (among other things) the cruise-control and audio controls on the steering wheel. Does anyone know if this was ever done on the Vibe, or it likely just a mislabeling? The other features in this package include fog lights (standard on the Vibe) and the cruise control itself (which is part of the Vibe "preferred package").The only thing I see that is even close is the OnStar system (listed on the Pontiac Vibe specs page) which is listed as OnStar Information/Convenience Services.Any thoughts?

Maybe they're talking about cargo nets and the seat-back pockets??

I bet they are referring to that package that is now about $850 msrp list - includes keyless remote entry with power door locks, power windows, and cruise control. On my '03 sticker it was called "Power Package". In 2003 it was $1,025 but they gave you a $400 package discount making it a net of $625.
